A cheery pub/hotel/eatery which is popular with the weekend crowd. Parking can be tight. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and imaginative and the food is well-prepared. A good range of craft beers is available. Unfortunately, the Leadburn is now closed. Watch this space.
Place was ok, soft play great and. Food was good. The staff did allow my child behind the bar who grabbed a fruit shoot then tried to charge me for the juice! They shouldn't be letting kids behind the bar in the first place if they are going to try that.
We were given a voucher from our children. Following a lovely meal with great service from Shannon. We were very rudely told by the owner that we had to redeem the voucher in full any remaining balance would not be carried forward for a future visit. She was also rude to a foreign couple with small children sitting next to us and very abruot to her staff. We couldn't fault the food or service, perhaps the owner could learn a thing or two from her staff. She certainly did not give a warm welcome to a family visiting Scotland
Friendly pub with good grub !used as a meeting place for bikers to get together and discuss engine oil and lubrication.Have an amazing full sized wooden motorbike in the bar area.Very pleasant surroundings and helpful chatty staff.Good tasty Scottish breakfast.
Not impressed this time...the salad that had come with the dish wasn't fit for eating... it's beyond me that a chef would think it acceptable to put it on a plate... when it was pointed out to the waitress she agreed but it wasn't taken away and replaced so absolutely no tip and would think twice before eating there
