My experience with Cycle Law Scotland has been a very positive one. They came in late to my situation as the firm I was with first of all was unable to do anything for me in the end. Then my GP who is also a cyclist gave me details of how to contact Cycle Law Scotland. Once Cycle Law Scotland was on the case then that's when things started to happen for me, my experience with the police and the solicitors i was with beforehand left me feeling like nothing could be done to help me. Fortunately Cycle Law Scotland was able to secure a very reasonable settlement for me. Scotland as a country has a long way to go as far as making roads more safe for cyclists, and road users more tolerant and understanding toward cyclists. So I am glad that Cycle Law Scotland was able to help me and other cyclists that have suffered similar situations.
After being struck by a car during a cycling training session on the A80, a couple of my club mates suggested that I should contact Cycle Law Scotland and tell them of my encounter with the vehicle and quickly thereafter with the road. I was pleased to hear that Cycle Law Scotland would take on the case and then completely surprised by how quickly things progressed to a successful conclusion for myself within five weeks of the incident. I can not recommend Cycle Law Scotland highly enough, they kept me informed throughout the whole process and the advice I received allowed me to make some clear decisions during the case. Thank you Cycle Law Scotland.
When I was knocked off my bike last year CLS was recommended to me by the Paramedic who attended to me at the scene of the accident. He informed me of how well he was treated and of a very positive outcome. Whilst laying recovering I googled CLS and sent a short email that evening. I received a phone at 9.15am next morning and my claim commenced there and then (quality service indeed). That standard remained throughout with staff who listened and understood my situation completely. All I wanted was to get my bike repaired and back on the road as fortunately I wasn't seriously injured. They may charge a fee but well worth every penny. Many many thanks Cycle Law Scotland.
First class service. I'm in the unfortunate position of twice being knocked off my bike, the fist time I went with a well known law firm who charge no fee and promise you an expert but they didn't know basic cycling terminology and the lawyer even asked me is I was allowed to be cycling on that road (who is the expert then). The second time a friend recommend I go with Cycle Law Scotland as they had been extremely helpful with his case. So I did. Cycle Law Scotland on the other hand know all the cycling terminology, but more important they know the law and they know how much you are due. They do charge a fee (taken from your pay-out) but please believe me this is reasonable and is money well spent, I would never go with one of the "free" law firms again as it's false economy and the difference in the service you receive is shocking. If you are unlucky enough to require a law firm don't go elsewhere Cycle Law Scotland is the answer.
I was put in touch with CLS after I was knocked off my bike and I honestly couldn't be happier with the service I received. They took all the hassle out of making the claim and explained each stage to me simply and effectively. I received my compensation within 2 months of the accident and I would happily recommend them to anyone unfortunate enough to need their help.
