Beautiful location next to the river, with a good selection of walks starting from it.
Nice Park. Been coming here since I was a boy, and now it's the turn of my 2 girls. Its changed a bit over the years, but still great for youngsters. Fenced in so they can't wander off into the tweed, which is useful. Beautiful views from the park on a sunny day, and plenty of space to run about in the playing fields once the fun of the park wears off, and if its warm you can even have an (easily accessible) paddle in the river.

Popular walk with lovely views along River Tweed. Tarmac paths could do with some attention.
I walk my dog here every day. It's a wonderful open area bounded on the south by the River Tweed. It also has a great children's play area. With many trees in the Park it's a fabulous place to walk through in the autumn. It also hosts many events throughout the year including car rallies, highland games etc.
