So disappointed to find it closed. Got engaged here in 1999 and came back as we were in area. Derelict and sad now - the hotel, not us.

A lovely hotel with lots of charm and great staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Only thing to improve would be the bar area. Get the fire going and some cask ales and I think more will use it.

Secluded, quiet, unique decor, a garden you can sit in, large views out over Peebles from your breakfast table, free parking, and loads of choice at breakfast. I simply can't fault anything. Yeah the Peebles hydro is bigger but it's like grand central station and you have to queue for breakfast!! So go here instead.
